Nicole Richie has for quite a few years been considered a style icon and with her jewelry range House of Harlow 1960 doing incredibly well, she is now expanding her fashion empire.
Nicole‘s bohemian chic easygoing style has become very trendy and now you can own your very own piece of Miss Richie’s style with her apparel line Winter Kate launching on Feb. 15. The designer is gracing the new issue of Fashion Magazine and she’s wearing an orange vest from the range.
Speaking of the line, which she “100% designed” herself, Richie says:
“I’ve always been one to dress for comfort. I’m not one to wear something that I don’t feel good in. Comfort was really important for me, especially doing a spring line. For me, I really don’t like to feel like I’m wearing anything during the spring and summer months.”
Winter Kate (daughter Harlow’s middle names) features about 40 items, all of which Richie designed and created herself.
“I 100% designed everything. Colors, cuts, fabrics. I would never put my name on something I wouldn’t wear myself. That’s why it’s taken me this long to have my line come out. … I do respect designers that go in it for the long haul and don’t do things that are trendy.”
“Everything is extremely affordable, and that was important to me, to have these pieces be accessible to everyone.”
Items will retail from $68 for a tank top to $1,375 for a suede vest. I’m sure you’ll see plenty of Winter Kate items on this site! Sneak peek below:
